4/3/15: Good Friday at Marathon Marina

We arrived in Marathon yesterday just before sunset. We will move to an outside slip tomorrow so we can enjoy the nightly sunsets from our boat.  After  several loads of laundry we explored the resort Marina we will stay at for the next month. We have enjoyed the beautiful pool most of the day. We will probably do that tomorrow and the day after that........

    The snorkeling at the Sombrero lighthouse is about the best we have ever seen...hopefully it is still the same. It is where I learned to snorkel in deep water and where I tried to dive with the Super Snorkler...failure, sorry to say...:-((.

    The first comment didn't make it on, I guess. That is a very special spot where you are moored. How lucky you are! Please have some fries at Burdines for me...a large basket. They are the best!!! Also, the fried Key Lime Pie if they still have it on the menu. Miss you though, but wouldn't take this from you for anything.
